Responsibilities






The Logistics/Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations within the organization. This role involves managing the movement of goods, optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of products, and developing strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. The Logistics/Supply Chain Manager works closely with various departments, including production, Customer Experience, Sales, Quality, Maintenance, HR and others, to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs throughout the supply chain and achieve daily SLA as requested.
  • Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
  • Oversee inventory management activities, including forecasting, planning, and replenishment, to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, including  vault and warehouse, carrier selection, and freight management, to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and distribution centers.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) from Vault, Warehouse, Purchase and Productivity  to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners, like external warehouses to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain.
  • Implement and maintain inventory and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage locations accurately. Guarantee cyclical inventories and zero stock outs.
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, feedback and support to ensure high performance and employee engagement, cross training Vault and Warehouse employees, and be prepared to give and receive feedbacks for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.








Qualifications






  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
