POSITION SUMMARY:This is a delivery position responsible for driving a 26ft Straight Truck or 48ft Tractor Trailer, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows


• Maintain Department of Transportation rules


• Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks


• Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery


• Operate a commercial truck safely


• 21+ years of age


• Operate a 26ft Straight Truck or 48 ft. Refrigerated Tractor Trailer with the supervision of an experienced company driver throughout NYC, NJ and CT based on assigned route.


• Successfully complete required hours of training and pass all required work, safety knowledge and driving assessments.


• Straight Truck Apprentices: 600 hours of training


• Tractor Trailer Apprentices: 800 hours of training
