Redmond is hiring a Warehouse Manager to assume responsibility for an existing warehouse, inventory, and active project delivery routes. This position will require self-directed, motivated, and organized work processes with a high focus on safety and efficiency. Candidates must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs independently and safely, and manage loading and unloading of trucks and lift equipment independently and safely. Much of this day-to-day role is performed independently and without direct supervision. Adherence to safety and reporting processes is highly important.
Role & Responsibilities: Warehouse Manager
- Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment in Redmond warehouse and across project sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, efficient warehouse environment
- Perform deliveries and pickups from Redmond warehouse, office, and job sites throughout the Chicago metro area as needed
- Develop and maintain a delivery schedule / site request process between warehouse, field team, and project team for effective site deliveries and haul outs
- Develop delivery routes that prioritize fuel efficiency and avoid traffic congestion when possible
- A critical emphasis on early morning and on time deliveries is required - project sites are operational by 6 AM and may require dock deliveries by 5 AM to meet tight elevator schedules
- Perform deliveries and haul outs at Redmond job sites, occasionally performing light labor on some sites (assisting with setup, cleanup, and loading in and out of equipment and debris)
- Safely and efficiently operate Redmond owned commercial vehicles, including lift gates and commercial box trucks (a CDL license and driving record check will be required to comply with insurance requirements)
- Safely and efficiently operate Redmond owned equipment, including stackers, forklifts, scissor lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment that may require fall protection or specialized training
- Manage auto and equipment maintenance budget and oversee maintenance of Redmond owned commercial vehicles and equipment
- Develop and maintain site setup inventory at Redmond warehouse for efficient deliveries
- Participate in regular safety audits of warehouse
- Provide inventory and budget reports to Finance & Operations Manager and COO
- Provide safety reports to Safety Director
- Participate in quarterly safety and all-team meetings at Redmond office
- Participate in professional development and trainings as required
- Maintain pleasant, professional, and high-quality service-oriented relationships with Redmond team members, clients, and vendors
Compensation:
Annual Base Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually
Bonus: 5% of base salary determined by Individual & Company Performance factors
90% of Medical, Dental & Vision premium covered
