Job Description:
Oversees the warehouse, inventory, and/or transportation operations of Government-owned mission
stock. Directs employees engaged in conducting WMS inventories, researching inventory
discrepancies, documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research,
item data maintenance, location surveys, planning outbound shipping loads, scheduling movement of
outbound shipments to include air, surface, small parcel, and sea IAW all applicable contracts, DFTS,
SDDC Global Freight Management System (GFMS) applications, and completing required
documentation and data entry functions to include Bills of Lading (BOLs), manifests and all other
forms of transportation documentation. Responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the
Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the
contract. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected
workload on a weekly or monthly basis. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW
general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site
Manager. Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate
daily workload fluctuations. Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing
workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of
projected work. Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract. Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS
