Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years warehouse experience
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse/logistics experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer.
- 3 years of managing groups of teams to establish and achieve production, safety, quality objectives, and continuous improvement in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours on multiple shifts.
- Previous supervisory experience, strong facilitation, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written), strong computer skills.
General Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for developing and leading a team of supervisors to obtain plant objectives in regard to safety, quality, training, productivity and cost containment with the plant. The Warehouse Manager will monitor the performance, compliance with operational procedures, and other parameters associated with the Warehouse operations; developing workable solutions to issues and provides leadership to drive resolutions to a complete implementation as well as providing measurable follow-ups to assure results.
Essential Functions:

Create, implement and sustain a framework for a safe working environment and insuring compliance with all safety rules. Ensure all safety compliance and policies are met in the production area.

Create and execute detailed plans to warehouse team to meet established production schedules.

Develop skills of direct reports and plant employees.

Recruit and source for vacancies to include working with supervisors to profile positions, recommend an appropriate recruiting strategy, and advise them on hiring and compensation decisions.

Ensures training and certification of all forklift drivers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the warehouse. Ensure proper maintenance of forklifts and yard equipment.

Maintains good housekeeping in all warehouse, loading docks, and adjacent parking areas.

Supervise, direct and motivate the efforts of personnel in the Production area of responsibility.

Understand financial information so it can be communicated to all parts of the organization.

Responsible for annual budget of Warehouse department.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Knowledge of the structure of the English language including reading, writing, and oral comprehension and oral and written expression.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, evaluation of customer satisfaction, and actively looking for ways to help people.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solution, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Developing strategies in shipping and receiving to maximize efficiency.

Work closely with production scheduling, production and customer service to be able to satisfy customer demands.

Manage a seasonal workforce.

Develop strategies for short and long-term storage of products.
GMP & PPE Required:
While on the production floor in the plant, you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
