As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at 1Stopbedrooms, you’ll be charged with finding innovative and creative ways of identifying and attracting top talent. You will help hire top level managerial employees as well as dozens of new employees for various positions in the the company, including CS managers, Zendesk experts, content writers, Training & Development specialists, and more. This role will require a hands-on, proactive approach where your skills as a networker and relationship builder will truly shine. 

Job Description

  • Meet with Human Resources to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company
  • Seek out potential team members based on needs of business
  • Initiate contact with potential talent
  • Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs
  • Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements
  • Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications
  • Use standardized screening techniques
  • Assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
  • Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices
  • Attend relevant networking and industry events
  • Travel as needed to events or interviews
  • Regularly report results and updates to the home office
  • Manage contract negotiations and terms of employment
  • Serve as an ambassador for 1Stopbedrooms and effectively advocate for our interests

Qualifications

  • Professional Human Resources certification strongly preferred
  • Previous experience seeking talent recruitment and assisting with onboarding processes
  • Proven success as a talent acquisition specialist
  • Experience interviewing and identifying common and individual goals
  • Ability to drive results, metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • An engaging and outgoing personality
  • An ability to initiate conversations and “lead the dance”
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any questions a potential hire may have
  • Confidence in delivering 1Stopbedrooms message and mission
  • Proficient in using company software and databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates
  • Proficiency in recruiting software such as Smart Recruiters
  • Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies
  • Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring all races, genders and ages
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
