Duties and Responsibilities  

  • SAPResponsible for submitting workflow requests for SAP part number. Ensure accuracy of data entered and track to ensure timely approval. Provide support updating Master data to ensure accurate planning data at all times. 

  • Supplier Engagement - Responsible for supplier communication requesting all required documentation to ensure timely creation and approval of SAP material requests and Specification (MSP) to support all New Product Introduction to the Milford site. Provide procurement support for all Supplier Change Notifications that impact approved materials at the Milford site. Request current lead-time information for suppliers and update SAP. 

  • New Product Introduction Support- Responsible for contributing to the successful introduction of new products into the Rentschler site. Involved in internal project meetings to ensure all Supply Chain activities are on track for a timely start-up of the first run at scale. Maintain Project tracking tools and provide regular updates to Supply Chain and internal Project team. 

  • Procurement Support – support buyers with daily activities including order placement, expediting deliveries, updating SAP data, generating reports and attending supplier meetings. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Interacts with multiple internal groups/ functions across the enterprise to discuss sourcing obstacles, provide progress updates and program performance results. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 3 + years demonstrated experience within a Supply Chain team. 

  • Experience with ERP system, SAP a plus 

  • Strong analytical abilities  

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation.  

  • Local Procurement 

  • Experience in working with external suppliers. 

  • Excellent knowledge in software (Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data base management software (i.e., Excel, Lotus).  

  • Excellent communication skills to frequently interact with external suppliers (local, regional, and global) and many internal functions.  

  • Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic, good time management skills, excellent listening skills, critical thinking skills, deductive reasoning skills, detailed oriented, and be able to meet strict deadlines.
