JOB DUTIES:
Work with the Distribution and Transportation teams to develop an in-depth understanding of the business environment while looking to build best practices in the design of related data repositories and reporting structures. Review current reporting approaches, assessing needs, identifying gaps, and leading with a point of view on how to develop and improve the data infrastructure. Assist in developing business tools and processes to define, capture, and monitor metrics. Regularly analyze supply chain data to ensure key performance indicators are met in order to lead new processes, procedures, improve efficiencies and corrective actions. Produce and enhance reports & dashboards, while creating standards to ensure reporting consistency across the department. Develop a suite of standardized reports published daily/weekly/monthly to measure operational and financial performance against objectives. Research business problems and contribute to the creation of models that help analyze and improve the situation. Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats. Conduct ad-hoc analysis. Provide project management support for the implementation of strategies, policies, procedures, and associated tactics. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data reported. Actively participate in the continuous development and innovation of systems and policies by contributing ideas for new features and functionality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or Business Intelligence.

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
