Summary: The Supply Chain Administrator plays a critical role in the daily operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient product ion and delivery of our fresh prepared food products. This position is responsible for analyzing customer orders and production schedules, managing inventory levels, and procuring necessary ingredients and materials. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and has a track record within the food industry or short shelf- life products.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the management of raw and packaging materials.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure accurate stock levels
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and analyze discrepancies
  • Optimize inventory turnover to reduce holding costs and prevent spoilage
  • Source and procure ingredients, packaging materials, and other necessary supplies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules
  • Works closely with the Senior Production Manager to align on production schedule and resource management
  • Coordinate the work of production planning and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations
  • Analyze customer orders and sales forecasts to accurately determine production needs
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure execution of the production plan.
  • Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in production planning and inventory management, preferably in the food industry
  • Experience with short shelf-life products is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of production processes, inventory control principles, and supply chain management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
