Staff Accountant | Full Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will work closely with the accounting team to prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and assist with audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA candidate
• Experience in Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry
• Experience with ERP systems

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
• Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data
• Assist with audits and provide support during the audit process
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and procedures
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Skills:

As a Staff Accountant, you will utilize your strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. You will also use your excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the accounting team and assist with audits. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential to perform daily tasks. Additionally, experience with ERP systems and knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles will be beneficial in this role.
