Position: Sr Systems Administrator
Duration: 4mths (CTH)
Location: Fischers, Indiana – 46037
Required Skills:
- Assists in developing and maintaining group policy
- Manages deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs on a timely basis
- Maintains ongoing communications with support teams regarding application issue resolution and general workstation management support
- Works with vendors for support with resolving issues and developing/maintaining platform strategy
- Coordinates applications release with the customer
- Provides mentoring, guidance, and professional development support to others on staff
- Provides back-up infrastructure support as needed
- Collaborates to maintain a library of system-supporting processes and procedural documenta
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include hands on standardization, and management of all client software deployment, images, and patching standards.
- Interacts with client management to answer questions, problems and requests regarding complex system issues
- Supports the design and configuration of complex system landscapes
Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance - Manages SCCM 2007/2012 Environment
- Troubleshoots problems to locate root cause and appropriate fixes in expedient fashion
- Provides client support and technical issue resolution in support of other teams
- Prepares standard statistical reports
- Consults with third party vendors to obtain support, make recommendations, and assist users with their requests
- Documents or revises user and technician training manuals and procedures
- Packages, tests and deploys automated desktop application installations within an SCCM framework
- Creates collections and advertisements for mass software distribution
- Develops and executes enterprise workstation imaging and deployment methodologies
- Develops and executes methodologies for increasing infrastructure optimization and standardization
- Ensures correct installation, configuration, use, and maintenance of the Microsoft SCCM Platform
