Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Sites Operation Manager in Casco, WI 


Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. 


The Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at our state-of-the-art Casco, WI facility, ensuring that the site runs efficiently and meets operational goals. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility, ensuring systems, processes, and personnel are aligned to Company goals. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing site operations, maintaining safety standards, optimizing workflows, and meeting production targets while ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. 


Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:  



  • Lead, train, and manage operators, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational protocols 

  • Continuously track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as process efficiency, product quality, energy usage, and equipment functionality 

  • Make recommendations for adjustments to optimize plant operations 

  • Utilize remote monitoring systems to oversee processes, ensuring all systems are functioning within established parameters and addressing any operational issues that arise 

  • Enforce safety procedures and training programs to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure full compliance with local and federal safety regulations 

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and shutdowns to prevent equipment failures and minimize operational downtime 

  • Maintain thorough validation documentation for all processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices 

  • Oversee capital expenditures for equipment upgrades, plant improvements, and major projects, ensuring they remain within budget and contribute to the overall efficiency of plant operations 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing processes, reducing costs, improving quality, and enhancing plant performance while maintaining environmental sustainability 

  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives  

  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike  

  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices  

  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines  

  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors  

  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks  

  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance  

  • Maintain good organization skills  

  • Perform other related duties as assigned 


 


This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field 

  • 5+ years of experience in site management or operations role in an industrial setting  

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams 

  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary teams 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple aspects of site operations 

  • Knowledge of budgeting, capital expenditure management, and financial planning 

  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 



  • Ability to travel to various company sites as needed 

  • May require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during site inspections 

  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures 

  • Willingness/ability to wear respiratory protection or other safety equipment 




 


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 



  • Compensation range for this role is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually  

  • Discretionary bonus 

  • The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
