Team / division overview
Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) manages the Bank's non-financial risks, including Operational and Reputational Risk; NFRM defines the Non-Financial Risk Framework to appropriately identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, report, and escalate non-financial risks, managing across non-financial risk types. Our Framework includes key components like: Risk Identification (including internal / external event management and Scenario Analysis), Risk Assessment (including RC(S)A, Transformation Risk Assessment and Control Framework), and Risk Monitoring (including Risk Appetite & Metrics, Risk Profile & Top Risk reporting).
NFRM works in partnership with the Business and infrastructure functions to proactively manage the Bank's risk profile and improve the control environment; key programs are currently underway to further improve Deutsche Bank's capabilities in areas like: Risk and Control Assessment, Risk Appetite, and Operational Resilience.
The Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program comprises as a Cross Risk Process and Risk Type Controller team within the Global NFRM portfolio and is designed to assist all DWS businesses and infrastructure units to identify, assess, mitigate, and track risks associated with DWS's portfolio of internal and external service providers.
Role Details
As a Senior Risk Manager – 3rd Party Risk, you will:
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Obligations
Owner of Third Party Risk Management program
Ensure proper risk assessment methodology is being applied with onboarding
Proper monitoring and reporting on the all the stages of the TPRM life cycle
Become a key regional TPRM expert and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the control functions and divisions
Help enforce alignment to necessary regulatory obligations for third party risk management
Collaborate with the first line to help communicate and mature TPRM program within the firm
Reporting, Committee, and Regulatory Representative
Represent the TPRM global agenda in local, regional internal governance councils/operating forums as required
Act as the representative for any formal regulatory response or presentations as required
Lead continuous improvement of regional TPRM risk reporting
Escalate key concerns and developments in the TPRM space at risk forums
We are looking for
5+ years of experience in Operational Risk and Third Party Risk Management in the finance industry
Experience understanding third party risk in by risk domains like business continuity, information security, privacy and compliance
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external resources
Experience with system development and testing
Bachelor's degree
Experience with Process Unity or other industry leading TPRM tools desired but not required
Industry certification like CTPRP, CTPRA, or CERP desired but not required
Act as a project manager or lead involving system roll out
