Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage diverse projects from conception to completion. These projects will vary in nature, including both internal initiatives and customer-facing assignments. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals. This role requires a self-starter attitude, strong leadership, exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.

Our projects are not "cookie cutter"; each one is unique and demands a flexible, adaptable project plan. Many of these projects focus on automating processes using AI or platforms like APEX, requiring a forward-thinking and innovative approach to execution.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for each unique project.
  • Develop and maintain adaptable project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage the lifecycle of projects with a flexible approach to accommodate specific requirements and changes.

Stakeholder & Customer Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Communicate project updates, gather requirements, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Innovation & Automation:

  • Oversee projects that involve process automation through AI or applications such as APEX.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate automation solutions effectively.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to propose innovative approaches.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of tasks while providing guidance and support.
  • Inspire a results-driven culture by "taking the reins" and driving initiatives to success.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Anticipate and proactively remediate project issues and escalate those issues to management as required
  • Resolve project challenges while maintaining momentum and focus.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentationย 
  • Development, implementation and enforcement of the Strategic Programs Governance, Charter, project plans & tools
  • Generate regular updates and status reports for stakeholders and leadership.

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $58,100 to $127,000 per annum.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,300 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
