As the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure grapples with some of the biggest challenges facing the State, we know our success depends on our people. To ensure that we have the workforce to meet these challenges, our People and Culture team are seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead and develop a high performing team of leaders and specialists responsible for the creation and implementation of a range innovative strategies designed to attract and build a skilled workforce that meets the Department’ current and future needs.
As the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, you will lead your teams to deliver innovative and service orientated recruitment services and provide expert and data-led advice to clients. You will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding recruitment experience for both hiring managers and candidates, mitigating risks and ensuring the integrity of the recruitment process. You will collaborate widely to manage and provide solutions for escalations and design and implement proactive recruitment solutions to address demand and ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of our communities.
This is an exciting time to join our Talent Acquisition and Strategy team as we embark on a period of change, focused on building a contemporary talent acquisition delivery model and integrating effectively with our other People and Culture functions to ensure we are building a workforce to support the current and future direction for the Department.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and innovative Talent Acquisition leader with proven experience managing service-oriented talent teams. You will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills and be comfortable advising and partnering with senior executive stakeholders and collaborating across business units to achieve outcomes. You will have substantial experience in designing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies and leading the optimisation of recruitment functions. Central to your success will be ensuring your teams are supported and have opportunities for ongoing development.
