Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology, and disability services to more than 5,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability, and their families, to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the role
Novita’s HR team provides services to 1100+ employees across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for providing end to end HR advice and practical assistance to Novita’s managers and staff.
As a Senior HR Advisor with Novita, you will work across a broad range of HR activities. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing workforce planning activities in consultation with hiring managers and leading end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities to meet workforce demands
- Interpreting and providing direction on compliance with workplace laws, industrial instruments, and company policies
- Leading and assisting managers with workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management activities
- Partnering with managers and external stakeholders in the management of return-to-work matters
- Maintaining HR records and implementing continuous improvement of systems and processes.
About you
As well as being aligned with Novita’s ICARE values, you will bring:
- Experience in a similar role
- A post-secondary qualification in human resources (or a related discipline)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements
- A resilient, tenacious, and pragmatic demeanour.

How you’ll be rewarded
You’ll receive a salary and benefits in line with the Novita Enterprise Agreement. Additionally, you can salary package living expenses up to $15,900 per year, increasing your take-home pay. Further salary-packaging benefits are available, including meal entertainment expenses, novated vehicle leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
