Job Description

Bulletin Intelligence – a premium provider of customized business intelligence briefings for executives – is looking for a Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to build and grow our company’s talent acquisition program. We are an established, consistently profitable, 150-employee firm that is nonetheless on an exciting growth trajectory more reflective of a start-up organization. The company is looking for just the right innovator to help us take BI to the next level. This is a new position and reflects a wholesale reimagining of the approach the company will take to attract and retain staff.

This position is a great fit for a proven leader who is looking to put their own imprint on building a new, best-in-class program in an organization that rewards intellectual prowess and a growth-oriented approach. Specifically, we’re seeking someone who takes guidance well but isn’t looking to be told what to do; rather, one who has the intellectual curiosity to transform ideas into opportunities and confidence in themselves to take action on them.

This is a high-intensity position that requires just the right mindset to succeed. We want someone who recognizes the value of analytics to drive action. Someone with a business acumen who is keenly interested in applying successful business principles to the talent acquisition process. Someone who is comfortable setting the strategy for our talent acquisition program for years to come, while at the same time, would enjoy aggressively targeting and recruiting exceptional talent to join our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for a robust talent acquisition program that is scalable to support business growth
  • Create, refine and implement effective, repeatable talent acquisition processes, metrics that drive continuous improvement, tools, assessments and recruiting practices that are consistent with and reflect organization’s brand and culture
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive team on all elements of talent acquisition
  • Supervise initial staff of two professionals; provide development opportunities through real-time experiences and creating an environment of continual learning
  • Mine for and source passive talent to fill critical openings (Please note: this position is 50% direct Talent Acquisition)
  • Develop and maintain presence on select campuses to build talent pipeline
  • Ensure the organization uses applicable and current talent acquisition tools


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated career growth that reflects positive trajectory in skill and leadership experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the competitive landscape for talent acquisition and ability to develop effective strategies to source talent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years of related management experience
  • Experience with managing lead-generation programs to find high-caliber talent
  • Business mindset with an understanding of how to use analytics to drive results
  • Self-motivated; ability to thrive in an environment where you set your own direction and then are accountable to deliver
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A strategic and creative mind willing to develop and test unique approaches with the critical ability to quantify and measure the results
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on prior experience
  • Experience in media and healthcare a plus
