Senior Consultant

Job Title:  Senior Consultant

Job Duties:   Argano, LLC in Plano, TX is seeking Senior Consultant(s) to analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

1.  Create Business Process Designs (BPD) and Business System Designs (BSD) that meet the business needs, adhering to departmental documentation standards.

2.  Work closely with business users to determine business requirements and translates them to system requirements.

3.  Deliver program requirements to developers and serve as the developer's point of contact for clarification and follow-up throughout the development process.

4.  Responsible for making software configuration changes to support business processes.

5.  Responsible for the functional testing of the application (development and configuration) and the support of these applications when moved to production.

6.  Adhere to departmental quality assurance and quality control standards during testing and implementation activities.

This position does not supervise the work of other personnel and does not perform any project management.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Position requires one or more of the following certifications: SAP certified on production planning or SAP S4 Hana certified on Enterprise Asset Management

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:

1.   SAP Production Planning

2.   Solution designing, SAP configuration, solution testing

3.   SAP Quality Management Solution design, configuration, and testing

4.   SAP Plant Maintenance Solution design, configuration, and testing

Requires 50% domestic travel. Work from home benefits offered depending on project requirements. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
