Senior Accountant

Job Description

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and providing financial information to the senior management team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 10 years of advanced accounting experience, including leadership roles.


• Proficient in GAAP and other regulatory standards.


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.


• Capability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.


• Experienced with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.


• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.


• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and supervise the books and accounting process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.


• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.


• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, including tax filings.


• Manage cash flow and prepare cash forecasts.


• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies.


• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.


• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.


• Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.


• Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial service providers.


• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems.
