Position Summary
This position will maintain the Salesforce.com system for the Brokerage team (the Customer Relationship Management system utilized by the company). This includes consolidating requirements from sales, leadership, and partner organizations to properly configure the system. This position will also analyze data from the system and other systems of record to provide leadership with information needed to make strategic decisions.
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide Salesforce system administration support for Brokerage
• Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business processes, goals and gaps to implement solutions (e.g. automating and improving workflows, custom reporting, etc.) that address business needs
• Provide end user support for Salesforce for Brokerage, including responding to questions, system errors, system monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Develop system strategies and implement enhancements while working with departments and third party vendors to meet business needs.
• Manage the implementation, testing, and documentation of all new processes and applications
• Support workflow configurations and enhancements to support process changes
• Ensure the proper planning, coordination, and implementation of new programs and enhancements
• Develop custom reports and dashboards
• Maintain knowledge of Salesforce and other system developments through participation in user group activities, knowledge exchange, and other related activities
• Review Salesforce release documentation to fully understand new capabilities and perform testing in sandbox environment to ensure current functionality continues to work properly
• Identify risks and opportunities for the implementation of any new functionality and integrations with other systems
• Maintain a repository for integration technical specification documents and other workflow documentation for new and existing integrations
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
• 2 – 5 years of experience with Salesforce and other business systems such as CRM, marketing automation and account management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Database management, specifically relational database expertise
• Project Management experience and/or certifications preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem solving skills including identification of root causes and plans for resolution
• Strong time management, organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present project information to customers and all levels of management
• Strong analytical skills: can understand complex data relationships and system technical requirements and also explain these things simply to others
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
• Advanced level proficiency with MS Office, specifically including Access, Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced in report writing, joining data & pivot tables
• Knowledge of queries (SQL a plus)
• Knowledge of programming languages a plus
• Experience in documenting business process
• Experience developing process improvement initiatives
• Quality experience such as Lean, Six Sigma, CAP
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
