Job Summary: Develop and maintain a sales pipeline which focuses on delivering growth and revenue objectives within the identified market and region. In addition, you will be responsible for regional sales activity for the Engineered Systems, Products and Services within the industrial and power generation markets. 



Other Job Details: 

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 
  • Travel expectations: up to 75%.
  • AOR: Texas, Louisiana, Gulf Coast
  • Ability to travel via plane, and vehicle. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. 
  • Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 annually, based on skills and experience. 
  • This position is eligible for bonus compensation on gross profit.

Requirements

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and closes business opportunities in marine and power generation according to specific targets.
  • Develops new and existing client base through early engagement and positioning, consultative selling prior to request for quotation.
  • Maintains and develops knowledge of segment/markets specific solutions and needs.
  • Evaluates inquires and register/maintain opportunities information.
  • Initiates contact with assigned and new potential accounts, cultivates good business relationships with key decision makers, and ascertains leads.  
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations in an effective manner by technical presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations.
  • Sales plan development to ensure order and revenue growth.
  • Service plan development to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep management informed through regular activity reports and communications.
  • Participates in trade shows and conferences related to the industry.
  • Manages customer relationship and communicates customer feedback internally through proper channels. 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills; interpersonal and business savvy.
  • Ability to operate as a team player.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in marine and/or power generation market segments.
  • Experience in the controls and/or automation industries.
  • Experience in the refinery industry.
  • Experience with Woodward products.
  • Outside sales; customer service.
  • Proven record of identifying, qualifying, pursuing and capturing opportunities and track record.
  • Demonstrated networking capabilities among various communities and customers.
  • Travel: Up to 75% domestic.
  • Fluency in English, other languages welcome.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience within application engineering and/or the power generation market.
  • Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of outside sales experience within application engineering and/or the power generation market.

Salary Description

$100,000 - $110,000 annually
