Sohn Linen is looking to add a Sales Representative in the Detroit Area. Sohn has been in business since 1933 and is constantly growing and adding new customers. Help us continue to expand and join the team! 

The main functions of a sales representative at Sohn Linen are to:

1.         Increase business through professional presentations in accordance with the        business plan.

2.         Identify and develop strategic market areas for input into the business plan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales

  1.       Solicit business in accordance with sales goals and sales policies.  Develop sales through cold calls, references, direct mail advertising, referrals from CSRs prospect sheets, and  telemarketing as well as any other means found reasonable.

  2.       Make good use of telephone solicitation to increase time spent in direct potential   customer contact.

  3.       Respond to all leads promptly.

  4.       Meet Sales Goals

  5.       Install new accounts with CSR and continue to work closely with CSR and Supervisor.

  6.       Keep accurate records of daily calls and mileage through the Sales Managers Program.

  7.       Attend and participate in all scheduled sales meetings.

  8.       Attend seminars as requested by Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales. 

  9.       Remain in compliance with driver safety guidelines.

10.       Maintain a minimum 40 hours per week.

11.       Must live and develop sales in the Detroit and/or surrounding areas.

12.       Reports daily to the Sales Manager.
