We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, as well as experience in the unconventional oil industry. The primary focus of this role will be to target completion engineers and reservoir engineers in the Canadian unconventional oil industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to target completion engineers and reservoir engineers in the unconventional oil industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and follow-up processes
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay current on industry trends and customer needs
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support sales goals
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with customers
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential customers
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and update customer information in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the product development team to gather customer feedback and drive product improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field considered a strong asset
- 2+ years of experience in sales and account management, with a focus on the oil and gas industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to gather and analyze market intelligence to stay current on industry trends and customer needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of the unconventional oil industry, and experience targeting completion engineers and reservoir engineers is a plus.
