We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, IT Specialist to oversee our IT department and manage our technological infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills,
leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to help drive our business forward. NOTE: This is not a programming position. This is a hardware-related role., not programming/software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing work order tickets and external vendors.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our technological infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of our IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly.
- Ensure the proper function of our POS system, PMS system, and telecommunications systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect our systems and data.
- Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for technological improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Provide IT support and training to employees as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT. Management experience is a plus.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Experience managing IT projects, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Property Management/Hospitality applications, such as Radiant and/or RMS.Β POS applications, such as Aloha.Β
- Experience with Windows Server, SQL, and Accounting applications.
