What we’re looking for

You’ll be responsible for ensuring effective actions are taken to satisfy regulatory authority requests and compliance with the National Law and Regulations (and associated legislation) across the organisation.

The role:

  • Work within a team who are the primary point of contact between Affinity’s early education and care services across Australia and their Regulatory Bodies.
  • Track and ensure non-compliance notices, breaches and any enforcement actions are actioned and closed out by the due date.
  • Analyse and respond to compliance actions including providing support for any regulatory review applications.
  • Provide support and advice to the organisation around the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Prepare reports, submissions and briefs in relation to incidents and complaints to senior leadership within the organisation.
  • Maintain and update various relevant databases and information storage systems around regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all communication is accurate, professional and adapted to sui.t the relevant stakeholder audience

 

Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory and legislative environments desired but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability in handling compliance issues with professionalism.
  • Experience within early education and care is desirable but not mandatory.
