What you will be responsible for 
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Recruiter to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring we attract, identify, and secure top talent for our residential construction projects. The recruiter will serve as a liaison between hiring managers and third-party recruiting agencies while managing candidate pipelines for key roles. This position is ideal for someone with experience in recruitment who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Management 
    • Partner with third-party recruiters to source qualified candidates for various residential construction roles, including project engineers, superintendents, and administrative staff. 
    • Creating partnerships within the community to support a long-term candidate pipeline, to include trade schools, colleges, resource centers, etc. 
    • Proactively maintain a robust pipeline of talent for future hiring needs. 
    • Hiring Manager Collaboration 
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, role expectations, and team dynamics. 
    • Provide hiring managers with candidate shortlists, schedules for interviews, and feedback from third-party recruiters. 
    • Recruitment Process Management 
    • Coordinate and streamline communication between third-party recruiters and internal stakeholders. 
    • Oversee the interview scheduling process and ensure timely follow-up with candidates and hiring managers. 
    • Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to keep records organized and up to date. 
    • Candidate Experience 
    • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience. 
    • Conduct initial screenings and provide insights on candidate alignment with company culture and role expectations. 
    • Recruitment Metrics and Reporting 
    • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality. 
    • Provide feedback to improve the efficiency of recruitment processes and third-party partnerships. 

Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
    • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in construction, engineering, or similar industries. 
    • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques. 
    • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) Lever and HR software NetSuite. 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring. 

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with third-party recruiters or staffing agencies. 
    • Knowledge of residential construction industry roles and skills. 
    • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS certifications).

$90,000 - $110,000 a year
