The Recruiter schedules and conducts interviews, conducts reference checks, and extends offers of employment for positions as assigned. This position will support the employment function by acting as a resource for employees and applicants regarding open positions, selection processes and general HR information. Other special projects will be assigned as needed.


 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 


 



  • Process and interview candidates, complying with all Company policies and local, state, and federal laws.

  • Process position requisitions and process all applications, resumes, and internal job postings.

  • Send correspondence for recruitment and follow-up regarding interviews.

  • Utilize an applicant tracking system to track applicant and statistics.

  • Administer pre-employment testing as required, check references, verifies all licenses/certifications.

  • Partner with division representatives specific to openings and follow up with candidates.

  • Continually improve automation of employment function utilizing current technology available.

  • Develop and utilize recruitment strategies.

  • Coordinate events and attend job fairs as required.

  • Enter employee records in personnel files.

  • Manage criminal background check process.

  • Offer candidates’ positions, schedule lab work, complete hire paperwork, and schedule candidates for orientation.

  • Participates in Company recruitment and retention efforts and completes projects as requested.

  • Place job advertisements with newspapers, college placement offices, professional newsletters, the Internet, and other sources.

  • Ensure expenditures are tracked appropriately.


 


 


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED 



  • 2 to 3 years of experience working within a high-volume staffing agency, nursing agency, hospital or other healthcare facility is a plus.

  • Ability to engage job seekers and clients.  

  • Ability to present information and make recommendations effectively in oral and 

  • written form.

  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of the Internet.  

  • You have demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make deadlines. 

  • Demonstrate good judgment; approachable and professional; solid problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well-organized
