Job Description Summary

The Property/Lease Manager role is responsible for the lease administration of a portfolio of leases on behalf of our client who are a significant occupier of commercial real estate nationally.

Job Description

The Property Manager role is responsible to manage and monitor all day to day lease management activities for the client portfolio that supports the operations of the Integrated Portfolio Management – Lease Administration service line for Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of the client.

The purpose of the Property Manager role is to lead the lease management function, ensuring a consistent standard and best practice approach in the delivery of Lease Administration services. This role will manage client relationship obligations including reporting to the client on execution against KPI’s, budgets, rent roll payments and any issues/escalations.

About your role:

  • Liaise with client on a regular basis

  • Review and circulate to the client: Performance activity, Portfolio analytics, Portfolio dashboard and critical date reports

  • Quality review and approval of Expenditure rent rolls and adhoc payment runs

  • Quality review of rent roll once final workflows processed

  • Action a breach/lock out process with revenue tenants if/when required

  • Issue final correspondence/bill to the revenue tenant upon revenue tenant termination/reconciliation

  • Manages own appropriate workload distribution and priority setting

  • Ensures cooperation with the team/s to provide the appropriate focus to deliver the best financial and compliance outcomes to the client

  • Ensure coordinated approach to team members to ensure the team is operating at optimal capacity and any HR issues are managed in a timely and professional manner

  • Effectively works collaboratively and engages with team members

About you:

  • Experience in property management

  • Experience in lease management and administration including documentation, approvals, execution of documents and financial administration

  • Strong client focus and customer experience mindset essential

  • Experience in managing multiple client portfolios, peak workloads and scaling resources appropriately is desirable

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Property, Economics or Business Management

  • Real Estate Agent License or Agent’s Representative
