Summary


As a Procurement Specialist or Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and managing the procurement plan. Collaborating with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design Manager, you will develop a strategy to meet project objectives related to cost, timing, and quality. Your role encompasses overseeing the procurement process from supplier identification through the source-to-pay cycle, including RF(x) development and administration.


 


Responsibilities



  • Develop and manage the procurement plan, from supplier identification through RFP solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, and purchase order (P.O.) creation.

  • Lead the overall development of procurement strategies to align with project and business goals.

  • Pre-qualify suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet project standards.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with teams across construction, engineering, and project management.

  • Resolve disputes between internal teams and suppliers to maintain smooth project progression.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, focusing on mitigating risks.


 


Requirements



  • 3-5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.

  • Experience in procurement within industries such as construction, energy, oil & gas or high tech.

  • Experience in procurement for construction or project-based environments.

  • Project management experience.
