As a Project Manager at Stanford FCU, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, steering the successful completion of critical projects that support our strategic goals. You will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects while managing the scope, schedule, resources, and risk to deliver solutions that enhance our member service offerings. Your role will demand effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, diligent stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of project management principles. Proficiency in financial industry regulations and experience in a credit union or banking environment will be key to your success in driving innovation and improvements that uphold our commitment to member satisfaction and operational excellence.

*This position is hybrid onsite 2x per week*

Who YOU are:  

  • Expertise in applying project management principles, methodologies, and tools to manage all project lifecycle phases.
  • Capable of analyzing complex problems, identifying potential solutions, and making decisions based on data. 
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive projects to completion. 
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects stay on track. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to project scope, schedule, and resource changes. 
  • Proficient in negotiating terms and resolving conflicts, ensuring the project’s best interests are always front and center. 
  • Understanding budgeting and financial planning related to project management, with the ability to effectively forecast and control project costs.

What YOU’LL do:

  • Responsible for preparing and executing project plans on approved projects. 
  • Oversees all aspects of projects, including due diligence, initiation, planning, execution, and closing stages. 
  • Manages and implements project changes/interventions to achieve completion.
  • Conduct project post-implementation reviews.  Coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams to meet project objectives.
  • Resolve project issues, mitigate risks, and manage scope changes effectively.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and report project progress to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor internal staff members on project management methodologies and best practices.
