About this Role






Project Manager

The Project Manager manages high voltage transmission, distribution, and substation construction/maintenance projects. Project Managers are also in charge of planning, directing, or coordinating, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structure, facilities, and systems. Project Managers at Potelco will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation. If the following interests you, we encourage you to apply!









What You'll Do






  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines. 
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. 
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer. 
  • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. 
  • Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies 
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned.  








What You'll Bring






Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of project management experience in the construction industry. 
  • Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively. 
  • Must be willing to travel, short-term. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies. 
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s). 
  • Valid driver’s license. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred. 
  • High-voltage powerline industry experience.

Compensation Range






The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $32.00/Hr. - USD $46.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
