TO Live has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology Department for an enthusiastic, organized, and resourceful team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Network & Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing technology systems and solutions, publishing system upgrades, implementing cybersecurity initiatives, as well as assisting with onboarding new software technologies related to Office 365. This position will also sometimes involve working with other departments to determine their current and future software, data, reporting, and hardware requirements. Providing recommendations to the Director of Information Technology regarding technology systems as they are analyzed, designed, and implemented, and how they relate to overall Information Technology expenditures will be a key responsibility of this position. Creating detailed documentation, workflows, and flowcharts for both new and existing technology systems is also a requirement of this role.

 

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Maintain existing systems with appropriate patches and security updates including Microsoft Server, VMware ESXi, and Aruba Networks.
  • Maintain and update existing network monitoring applications ensuring optimal uptime for workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Implement and update cybersecurity baselines for workstations and servers.
  • Coordinate and publish Group Policy and Intune Policies.
  • Create, update, and maintain systems documentation related to disaster recovery.
  • Project coordination for implementing new systems, existing system changes and/or enhancements.
  • Analyze and evaluate current systems to identify and suggest solutions for process and security improvements.
  • Research and address user needs by creating and/or enhancing processes and reports where required that improve user experiences and optimize expenses.
  • Oversee and support IT Help Desk staff for requests that need escalation.
  • Backup support as required for days off and vacation coverage for IT Help Desk.
  • Initiate and complete onboarding and offboarding of personnel accounts.
  • Participate in the overall Information Technology Department purchase order approval process.
  • Organize appropriate quotations for software and hardware requirements related to maintaining and upgrading network systems and servers.
  • Attend educational events and stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Fluent with administration of Windows/Linux/VMware ESXi servers in a virtualized environment including backup management, Single-Sign On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), upgrading systems and applications, patch management, performance tuning, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Experience working with enterprise Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, FSMO, Group Policy, Intune, Office 365 Exchange).
  • Experience with advanced network equipment such as Aruba Networks (layer2/layer3/firewall).
  • Experience participating in cybersecurity activities including analyzing baselines and publishing security requirements.
  • Fluent understanding of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Diligent in developing and maintaining documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster applications is a plus.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  • Flexibility in hours and schedules and includes work on nights and weekends as required.
  • Lack of natural light in workplace.
  • Travel between TO Live venues as required.
