Our client, specializing in crafting innovative and high-quality hardwood flooring and cabinetry, is seeking a National Business Development Manager with a background in the cabinetry industry to hire and manage a team of sales representatives, initiate business development activities, and cultivate a new customer base.

Responsibilities:
Hire and oversee a team of independent and company representatives based on the strategy developed for each national market area, initially focusing on the East Coast and Southeast regions.
Implement business development activities with prominent regional home center organizations, kitchen and bath dealers, and distributors on a national or regional scale.
Conduct market segmentation and identify trends to inform a strategic plan aimed at creating new market opportunities.
Train and develop the new representative network and customer base through in-person visits, Zoom calls, and effective marketing communications.
Create and deliver high-level presentations to senior decision-makers within national or regional organizations.
Identify, nurture, and manage opportunities for business growth through organic relationships.
Execute business development strategies to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve established business targets.
Enhance client satisfaction and loyalty by addressing their needs effectively.
Consistently exceed personal sales targets for business development activities.
Report current activities, new business development opportunities, and outcomes to the General Manager.
Manage your workload efficiently, ensuring adherence to timeframes.
This role requires 50% travel
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of mid-senior level sales/business development experience.
Experience in the cabinetry industry, required; wood products manufacturing strongly preferred
Understanding of cabinetry dealer practices, with the ability to create innovative growth programs.
Proven skills in analyzing market trends and their business implications.
Experience in developing and maintaining a national client base aligned with KPIs.
Compensation:
Base salary to 100k/year with monthly bonus potential
