East West Hauling is looking for a talented, experienced and senior profile for Logistics Executive to help with continued business growth. This is an operational position that acts as a liaison between customers, sales and carriers. You should be able to Multitask and resolve issues in high-pressure situations and proactively identify and resolve issues using critical thinking skills.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with carriers to ensure shipments are dispatched, loaded, and emptied in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all logistics work is reflective of the actual times that the work transpired.
- Understand all customer requirements and put plans in place to meet the service expectations
- Be familiar with the geographic service area and the industry standard rates that apply to each area.
- Answer all customer questions, both internal and external, concerning loads, service, or billing information.
- Sourcing new customers by developing leads and cold calling potential customers.
- Creating, developing, and retaining business relationships with customers.
- Increase and Maintain understanding of current market conditions and business trends.
- Managing and negotiating rates based on the current market demand.
- Thoroughly understand the intricacies and rapid changes that occur in the freight industry & use this knowledge to better service the existing client base.

Experience/Abilities
- Successful candidate is someone with experience into Sales, Supply Chain/Logistics Customer Service/Customer Relationship Management and who has a high energy level, positive attitude and keen attention to detail with an aptitude for competence and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to deftly handle multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Good with Excel and other Microsoft Office products as well as transportation industry software.
- Accuracy with data processing is extremely important as well as reconciling your work and following up and correcting errors.
- Confident, self-directed person who is able find and solve problems independently.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with an array of internal and external partners as well.
- Should be a driver of updating software and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations and reporting.
