Description
Lead the strategic direction of the operations team within Kroger Personal Finance (KPF). Provide leadership to develop and implement programs that deliver the budgeted $500M+ in OP for KPF and the alt profit channel. Responsibilities
- Develop operational support strategies for the prepaid, telecom, money services, credit card and lottery businesses
- Develop and deliver operational strategies allowing KPF programs to meet the needs of customers of today and the future regarding KPF products and services
- Direct operational processes/procedures including fixture development, product distribution and planogramming that establishes KPF as best in class
- Regularly evaluate operational processes and procedures within the organization and throughout the network of external customers for improved execution and efficiencies
- Develop long-term strategic internal and external vendor partnerships that provide quality products and/or services to improve store level merchandising execution
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendor agencies for the performance of merchandising services across all Kroger divisions
- Partner with all business lines at KPF to deliver the level of execution at store level that is necessary to meet the financial targets
- Lead the identification, development and delivery of cost controls and efficiencies to achieve the operational budgets
- Review, measure, and report key product/category vendor metrics regularly
- Recognize and anticipate changes to the competitive landscape of the operational marketing areas
- Establish and maintain knowledge of controls and reporting tools regarding regulatory compliance and stay current with changes within government regulations
- Communicate, promote and execute KPF operational programs and initiatives through the KPF Sales Managers and division teams
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years procurement experience
- 2+ years category management experience
- 3+ years store management/asst. management experience within Kroger or subsidiaries
