U-Haul International is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to prepare thorough and objective analytical reports, forecasts and recommendations for use by management in their decision-making process. The Junior Financial Analyst will work collaboratively within the department to develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses as needed.

Essential Duties
  • Perform detailed valuation analysis on all potential acquisitions prior to their presentation.
  • Complete financial and operational reporting, forecasting, budgeting, as well as ad hoc analyses. 
  • Perform post acquisition analysis.
  • Perform a variety of financial and statistical analyses to complete ad-hoc project requests.
  • Exposure to standard daily reporting.
  • The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for the completion of other projects as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. 1-2 years of professional experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking ability
  • Understanding of corporate finance concepts and their use cases (eg. WACC, NPV, IRR, DCF Analysis)
