The Investment Operations Manager will lead the operations of our Funds and Portfolios division, including oversight of one Investment Operations Analyst. The position is responsible for driving initiatives to increase operational efficiencies to support the scalability of our Meeder Edge Investment Consulting, the Meeder Funds, and trading of Meeder’s investment portfolios. This role will lead and collaborate on initiatives with peers from Investments, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Oversee all investment operations functions of Meeder’s Investment Consulting business line, including the production of client deliverables, model portfolio trading on broker dealers & platforms, and management of our portfolio database and workflows.

  • Oversight and participation in the trading of model portfolios on various custodial and third-party asset management platforms.

  • Oversight of trade settlement & corporate actions process for Meeder Funds.

  • Become a subject matter expert of the broker dealers and platforms that Meeder’s portfolios are offered through, including asset reporting and participation in due diligence.

  • Development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to investment operations functions.

  • Manage and maintain dashboards used by investment team for customer relationship management, portfolio and fund due diligence.

  • Provide oversight of administration of Retirement Plan business.

  • Lead change management initiatives across Funds & Portfolios that include the implementation of new distribution partners/platforms, new technology, and changes to the business operating model.

  • Lead and manage an operations analyst and serve as the primary contact to internal key stakeholders.
