Job Title: Incoming Quality Auditor
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports to: Supervisor, Quality and Warranty Returns
Location: Washington Distribution Center
Necessary criteria:
Performs quality audits on products from various suppliers and facilities.
Performs various testing as required by product specifications and defect reference manuals, both quantitative and visual.
Prepare reports of findings/testing and other pertinent information to the lead as required.
Maintain documentation of testing/findings and other pertinent information.
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft filing methods.
Ability to read and follow work instructions to ensure correct procedure.
Works closely with the Quality Engineers responsible for each product line.
Participates in the development of new procedures as needed.
Knowledge of/or willingness to learn JDE E1 ERP system.
Willingness and ability to learn Docuware for filing/routing of NCRs (nonconformance reports).
All other duties as assigned by lead/manager.
Willingness to learn/operate: Hi-Rise, Center-Ride, and/or Stand-Up Forklift.
Is not on employment probation or disciplinary probation.
Follows safety guidelines for job as described and general for facility.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as prints, orders, instructions. Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and combined box counts. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Ability to complete and handle detailed measuring.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to follow instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to work under pressure or stressful situation.
