The HRIS Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational functions of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role focuses on enhancing system performance, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing HR processes through the effective use of Oracle HCM. The HRIS Manager will lead a team of HRIS analysts, driving accountability and continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HRIS analysts, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability measures to effectively manage HRIS operations, implementing and executing best practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the HRIS team.
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, management, and projects related to the Oracle HCM platform, including requirement-gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance and upgrades of HRIS data, services platform, applications, and other systems used to manage human resources processes
- Monitor system performance and user satisfaction, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures to ensure reliable reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure system security and data privacy.
- Partner with subject matter experts across all subdisciplines (e.g., Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Learning, Finance) to simplify and optimize processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance business capabilities.
- Partner with departments to manage the planning, configuration, and testing for annual projects, such as performance and merit cycles, open benefit enrollment, payroll year end and compliance reporting.
- Lead projects aimed at enhancing HR functionalities and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to recommend system enhancements and innovations.
- Develop and implement training programs for HR staff and end-users, ensuring proficiency in using Oracle HCM.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the HRIS team and end-users, addressing technical issues and user inquiries.
- Design and generate reports to meet the needs of HR leadership and other stakeholders, utilizing analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Oversee ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate project assignments.
- Analyze and manage the human resource information systems and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and improve user experience; gather requirements from functional team to gain knowledge of business processes to contribute to definition, design, and documentation of processes
- Develop and present metrics on improvement efforts, showcasing project success and areas for further development.
- Lead and participate in the review, testing, and implementation of Oracle HCM releases, and communicate the potential benefits of new features to stakeholders.
- Coordinates software installations and upgrades with vendor(s). Troubleshoots issues, researches errors, and applies corrections. Provides end-user support and training.
- Regularly report project status to leadership, senior management and/or the sponsor and stakeholders.
- Conduct system and process change readiness reviews to ensure fixes/enhancements are deployed per requirements
- Serve as a super-user and subject matter expert for HRIS data entry, updates, trouble shooting, reports generations and user guides.
- Create test scenarios and assist project team members in performing those tests to ensure all processes work effectively, efficiently and in accordance with business requirements.
- Conduct and report on periodic HR file audits to ensure records are meeting regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in various HR functions and systems simultaneously, within tight deadlines, to provide deliverables on a cyclical and as needed basis.
- Establish and maintain a strategic roadmap for Oracle HCM, identifying opportunities to enhance system functionality and improve the user experience, effectively communicating timelines and progress updates to stakeholders.

- Lead projects to implement and manage specific technology solutions that make a significant impact on the organization.
- Drive and lead new integration projects while supporting the resolution integration issues, execute ad hoc data requests and uploads, implement change requests, and develop reports as needed.

Qualifications/Training:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum five to seven (5-7) years of experience in HCM application administration at the enterprise-level and prior hands-on experience in leading, configuring and troubleshooting, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience managing HRIS implementation projects or upgrades.
- Prior experience in Oracle HCM with Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, and Performance modules, including integrations is required.

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in leading high-functioning teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong technical background in system integration and data management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and leadership levels.
- Strong detailed and conceptual thinking skills to analyze complex problems and propose solutions.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users, providing expertise in a manner that motivates and improves outcomes.
- High degree of project management and change management expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
- HRIS-related certifications (e.g., Certified Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant, PHR, SPHR).
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
