Our global client is going through an exciting period of growth and expanding their HR function in the United States, We are currently hiring for a Human Resources Advisor ( generalist ) who will report to the Group Head of HR with dotted line to President, Americas, responsible for delivering a comprehensive service provision with specific focus being on general HR support for both the US and Brazilian function.Β

- Support the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures in alignment with my clientβs standards.
- Offer expert advice to managers on optimal employment practices, collaborating with external legal advisors when needed, and provide feedback on third-party service delivery.
- Coordinate and execute performance management tools such as role profiles and competency frameworks, offering guidance, coaching, and assistance to management.
- Lead the talent management process by identifying high-potential individuals and addressing potential risks in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Manage recruitment activities for key positions in the region, utilizing effective selection tools to attract top talent, while advising local management on best practices throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide support to management in handling complex disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Oversee all HR, payroll, pension, and benefit-related functions for North America to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain the Training Matrix, update employee training records, and assist managers in ensuring timely completion of compliance training.
- Utilize appropriate tools (e.g., HCM, LMS) to manage HR data and generate reports as needed.
- Assist in leading HR-related change management initiatives such as restructuring, redundancy handling, and promoting company values.
- Supervise complex absence/case management issues and provide recommendations to Senior Managers and Executives on necessary steps.
- Manage occupational health services to meet business needs effectively.
- Act as the primary HR contact within the MBU, liaising with the Union, management, and other stakeholders to uphold business interests and HR practices.
- Develop and support employee engagement initiatives at both site-wide and departmental levels to enhance morale, motivation, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with the broader HR Team to implement the HR People Strategy agenda through proactive engagement in project work and supporting new processes and initiatives across the organization.
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting the business and employees with various general tasks as needed (e.g., IT equipment setup).
