What You Will Do:

  • Develop strategies to solve complex Human Capital challenges for our clients, and implement plans 

  • Conduct analysis and benchmarking of client workforce through data analytics, research, interviews, and develop strategies and improvement recommendations across the employee lifecycle 

  • Work with team to develop workforce strategies and translate strategies into operational workforce plans 

  • Support facilitation of collaborative working sessions with client and Guidehouse experts to design workforce solutions across a diverse set of client environments 

  • Support key components of business process improvement efforts to develop and implement new workflows and SOPs, including supporting the development of a strategy to process improvement efforts, supporting process mapping exercises, brainstorming solutions for improvement, and executing improvement rollout to identified stakeholders 

  • Support change management, communications, and training related activities, as they relate to human capital and process improvement activities, including the development and implementation of change and training strategies and communication plans 

  • Support one or more tasks or work streams within a client engagement, collaborating with teammates  

  • Proactively assist in the delivery of engagement activities and manage the completion of deliverables  

  • Support development of content for stakeholder engagement 

  • Support client and internal subject matter expert conversations toward effective outcomes  

  • Communicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives  

  • Demonstrate clear writing, confident presentation, and effective facilitation skills to track and present workforce data, concepts, and perspectives clearly and succinctly 

  • Track and report the status of projects and tasks, including key metrics and risks  

  • Compile accurate and detailed notes for client meetings 

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse human capital and process improvement methodologies and tools  

  • Participate in business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials  

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 

  • 2 years of work experience in human capital, workforce transformation, process improvement, change management, and/or human resources

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail 

  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and support multiple stakeholders and priorities 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client or public-facing documents, as well as communicating complex concepts effectively through MS PowerPoint, including creating custom visuals 

  • This role requires you to be within a commutable distance and have the ability to work out of Washington DC metro area


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification 

  • Change Management Certification 

  • Human-Centered Design Training and/or Certification  

  • Understanding and experience with HR processes (Recruiting, Hiring, Training, Retention, Onboarding, etc.) 

  • Understanding of process and system mapping skills using Visio and other process mapping tools 

  • Experience in Human Capital and Human Resources Operations, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management, Organizational Assessments, Federal Recruiting, Collecting and Implementing Human Capital System Functional Requirements, Case Management and Triaging, Customer Service and Engagement, Learning, Development, & Training 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field 

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
