Job Title: HR Specialist-Talent Acquisition

Department:   Human Resources 

Reports to:   Human Resources Manager

Position Summary:


The primary role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to support the successful execution of talent attraction strategies through effective sourcing and hiring of employees. This position develops and implements social media recruiting activities and provides management with timely/accurate reporting. The position is also responsible for managing the annual performance management process, along with associated events within the employee lifecycle.


Essential Functions: 

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for an agile and innovative organization.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals. 
  • Manage effective onboarding initiatives and new hire surveys.
  • Manage career pages of company website.
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with Hiring Manager, business leaders and HR.
  • Track key metrics designed to measure recruitment and retention.
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and cross-functional projects. 
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System for recruitment and related recruitment/sourcing sites.
  • Utilize all methods of recruiting and sourcing talent including social media, job boards, career fairs, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge on all industry trends to ensure compliance with recruitment guidelines.
  • Coordinate the annual employee performance review process, including system configuration, communications, and reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date human resource records in HRIS related to all employment actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation, maintenance, security and retention of employment records and data in compliance with applicable laws and company policy.
  • Coordinate all exit activities and reporting.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent work experience. 


Experience: 

Minimum of two years of experience in talent acquisition to include a strong understanding of and an ability to recruit at all levels of an organization. Experience using multiple resources and strategies for sourcing talent.


Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

· Positive attitude and collaborates willingly in a team environment. 

· Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.

· Experience with creating and reporting metrics.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships across the business units.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.


Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

Demonstrated proficiency in: 

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Applicant tracking systems
