Description

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER


The Human Resource Manager helps ensure the successful execution of The Group Experience by administering human resources and compensation services for Partners and Operations while supporting individual Partners’ wealth creation to increase shareholder equity.


POSITION PRIORITIES:


              Human Resources



  • Facilitate compliance and enforcement of Federal and State laws and regulations with respect to employee/employer relationships. 

  • Update the Employee Handbook as well as track employee acknowledgment.



  • Provide guidelines and updated pay bands to assist with yearly salary adjustments for operations personnel.

  • Foster a safe work environment along with conducting a yearly anti-harassment training course for all employees and partners.  Facilitate all workman compensation claims and issues.

  • Assist Operations Manager with employee relations as well as addressing disciplinary needs.

  • Assist with ADA compliance.

  • Oversee and manage quarterly and annual review process in Paycom along with creating and implementing evaluation protocols and models.

  • Assist in planning and facilitating staff events. 

  • Screening job candidates for the manger team.

  • Overseeing professional development plans for the company as well as tracking development and certifications in Paycom.


Payroll Management



  • Manage timecards, paid time off, sick leave, and biweekly payroll processing for The Group Inc and associated companies.

  • Entry of payroll and benefit expenses into company accounting system on a bimonthly basis.

  • Balance the internal database (LoneWolf) accounting system each month for Payroll and Benefits.


Benefit Management



  • Assist with the implementation and execution of benefit programs for partners and operations as well as Open Enrollment and Qualifying Events.

  • Facilitate payments, rosters, and bookkeeping for various benefits providers along with workman’s compensation insurance.

  • Facilitate enrollment, contributions, withdrawal, rollovers, required notices, yearly filings, and compliance for staff 401k plans.

  • Coordinate and implement compliance with FAMLI.


Onboarding



  • Perform background checks and Paycom enrollment for new partners and operations.

  • Facilitate a monthly new hire benefit meeting as well as operations and partner onboarding.


 


Other Duties



  • Assistance with special projects as well as the annual financial review.

  • Cross training and back-up support for all roles on the finance team along with other duties as assigned.


 


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field

  • Five years’ experience in Human Resources

  • SHRM-SCP Certified

  • Payroll/Finance experience preferred

  • PAYCOM experience preferred

  • CIPD Certified preferred
