The role you’ll contribute:
The Risk Manager plans, develops, and administers the system’s Risk Management Program for loss prevention and claims control according to federal, state, and local requirements to meet the needs of all units of the AdventHealth East Region.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
• Oversees the system for identification and analysis of loss or injury exposure. With the help of the Risk Management Associate,
• Plans, develops and maintains loss prevention activities.
• Maintains and coordinates claims control.
• Assures facilitation of the patient grievance process as required by state and federal statutes.
• Assists in maintaining Joint Commission Accreditation
• Plans and develops quarterly Ethics Forum meetings to provide education, promote discussion on ethical issues, and contacts members to serve in an advisory capacity in ethical decision-making.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed\:
• Associate degree
• Three or more years in risk management or related management experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
