BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE


Job Description

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for executing sales and

marketing functions for United Medical Doctors. This will include but not be limited to

contacting prospective and current referring physicians, establishing relationships with key

referral sources, generating qualified prospects using cold email, cold calling, social selling,

grassroots marketing and networking and executing community relations for all divisions of

United Medical Doctors.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

? Markets the services, divisions and physicians at United Medical Doctors by multiple means of

communication and touch points (i.e., cold email, cold calling, grassroots marketing, drop-in

visits, scheduled meetings, etc.).

? Contacts prospective and current referring physicians and tracks all efforts and responses.

? Identifies areas of growth from existing and new referral sources.

? Utilizes data collected through the Marketing Department and our electronic health records

platform, gGastro, to measure success and identify trends across referral sources.

? Attends community events and participates at various levels while representing United Medical

Doctors and its divisions in the utmost positive and engaging manner.

? Coordinates and attends scheduled meetings (i.e., breakfast, lunch and/or dinner meetings)

with referring physicians/referral sources.

? Facilitates UMD physician outreach schedules and coordinates with UMD physicians to attend

referring provider engagements.

? Generates reports of business development efforts for the Marketing Manager on a consistent

basis.

? Assists with administrative marketing duties.

? Performs additional duties as assigned.

Business Development Representative Education & Qualification Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree or higher

? Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Sales a plus

? Previous experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Business Development

? Excellent project management skills

? Excellent grammar and communication skills

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager.

Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
