The opportunity:

As the Group IT Cyber Technology & Operations Manager, you will ensure that Fulton Hogan’s suite of security platforms and technologies are fit for purpose and integrated to protect the company from cyber risks. You will manage relationships with cyber security partners and vendors, oversee the integration and operations of key security platforms, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cyber recovery capabilities.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Oversee the integration and operations of key security platforms such as SOC & SIEM Services, End Point Protection, Email & Web Secure Gateways, Network & Vulnerability Scanning, and Next Generation Firewalls.

  • Regularly review and recommend improvements to security platforms, technologies, and services.

  • Ensure cyber security service providers meet required levels of coverage and respond to threats and incidents within agreed SLAs.

  • Collaborate on penetration testing and remediation actions.

  • Support the Group IT Security Manager with reviews and updates of cyber security documentation.

  • Contribute to cyber risk assessments and incident management.

  • Participate in regular cyber security incident desktop exercises.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and third-party partners.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Strong knowledge of cyber security in complex environments.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in technology management, information management, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with ITIL Management Framework and change management in an enterprise environment.

  • Excellent communication skills across all operational levels and with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ASD E8, ISO 27002) is desirable.

  • Superior interpersonal skills, ethical behaviour, and respect for others.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think ahead.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
