Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic & ambitious General Accountant to join our friendly, busy experienced Finance team. You will be using your accounting skills and professional experience to do incredible work in our finance department. What We’re Looking For:


What you’ll need for a great journey - ACA or ACCA part qualified (or equivalent) and relevant experience ideally in a shared services environment. - You must have at least an intermediate level of competence with Excel and a good understanding of all other packages in the Microsoft Office suite. In addition, you will also have previous experience of using an ERP system, preferably Oracle, on a daily basis.


 


What You’ll Do:


As the General Accountant you will be part of a large friendly multilingual team and responsible for the daily and monthly general accounting processes for up to 10 entities. 


- To gain an in depth understanding and knowledge of the accounting tasks, accounting treatment and reporting. 


- To perform monthly the required calculations and entries for sundry accruals, inventories, prepayments and any other general accounting as required.


 - To manage monthly PO tasks including closure and accrual run. 


- To ensure all the accounts in the general ledger are reconciliated with the proper back.


- To ensure the Fleet report from US is reconciliated.


- To provide full support to the SFA for FS and audits.


- To ensure WHT and all the local taxes are filled on time without any risk.
