Position Purpose:

Develop and manage established customers by selling food service items to achieve profitability goals.

Essential Functions

  • Supports customers in identifying items to place orders.
  • Works with other team members to maximize order drops.
  • Presents products to customers, which could include preparation of products. 
  • Troubleshoots customer issues. 
  • Provides service in all aspects of the sales process.
  • Works with Company Leadership on various projects and initiatives.
  • Any additional task assigned by manager; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Adheres to all company safety policies and guidelines

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. 

Required Experience / Skills:

  • At least one year of prior broadliner foodservice sales experience.
  • Self-driven, results oriented with a clear focus on building relationships with the client base and developing sales.
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Additional Information

ScheduleMonday – Friday; Typically, 8:00a-5:00p with a requirement to flex schedule as needed. Physical Demands: The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions: Expect daily travel throughout assigned territory with occasional presence / work in our corporate office in Somerset, Kentucky.
