This is a full-time position located in the Finance Department with onsite working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 5:00 pm to include weekends, holidays, evenings as required with benefits after a successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment. Please note: this is not a remote position.


 


SUMMARY:


Under the direction of the Director of Finance, provide consultation to leadership team to solve business problems (revenue opportunities, efficiency gains, perform research to develop/support business cases); analyze complex data and provide insight related to findings; Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting; collaborate in revenue forecasting; work closely with senior management to help make critical decisions about expense management. Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and budget variance analysis. Support the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) process for assigned functional departments. Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by executive leadership during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review. Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology and communicate useful information to business leadership team.


 


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Analyze business and financial data; identify and develop recommendations

  • Create financial models and analyses to support organizational decision making.

  • Develop financial plans, budgets and insightful reporting for organizational leaders.

  • Drive overall performance and cost optimization to fund growth and improve profitability.

  • Analyze industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.

  • Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.

  • Review initiatives to ensure they support the company’s strategic direction.

  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.

  • Communicate financial impact and provide visibility for initiatives to the leadership team.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.

  • CPA/MBA preferred

  • 4+ years of related corporate Finance, FP&A, and/or Accounting experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Accounting experience and knowledge of ERP and financial planning systems preferred



  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



  • Highly motivated team player that contributes to an atmosphere in which people work together to produce outstanding results.

  • Excellent communication skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executives.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high pace environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


 


SPECIAL CONDITONS OF EMPLOYMENT:


Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed; ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity; no smoking in the work area.


 


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stoop, reach, walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time; good, clear speaking voice essential to communication both in person and on the telephone; ability to lift 25 pounds.
