Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Data Engineer III (CCL Specialist), who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Data Engineer III (CCL Specialist), you will:
•Creates and maintains standard and custom Cerner CCL reports based on stakeholders’ requirements and clinical operational workflows.
•Develop and maintain informative and actionable data visualizations and reports for analysis, problem-solving, and business solutions that highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
•Create and distribute standardized performance reports to key stakeholders.
•Monitor the accuracy of reports and dashboards and resolve issues as needed. •Support clinical teams as they implement evidence-based and data-driven best practices.
•Set up operations jobs and monitor the delivery of reports ad hoc or at scheduled intervals.
•Collect detailed business analytics requirements from stakeholders and develop standardized functional requirement documents.
•Provision security for DA2 and Power Insight.
•Participate in the design and development of reporting datasets from existing and new data sources. Develop CCL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
•Provide training to hospital staff on data interpretation and the use of analytical and reporting tools.

Qualifications include:
•Mission-driven individual with strong values that align with the AHC mission
•Ability to work in a fast-paced critical patient care-driven organization
•Strong CCL programming and Data warehouse implementation experience and skill
•Preferred working on cloud-based environments such as Snowflake, AWS or Azure
•Must be able to critically think, detail oriented and present arguments in an articulate manner
•Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees
•Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
•Customer-orientated individual
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related f
•5+ years’ experience developing reports with Cerner CCL coding language.
•5+ years’ experience and knowledge of coding language Java, XML, and SQL to extract data from various relational databases, application systems, flat files, and XML documents, and load them into data warehouses.
•Experience working with large-scale data warehouses and related technologies.
•Snowflake experience is preferred.
•Experience in ORACLE Cerner Application’s data modeling.
•3+ years’ Experience in building analytical reports using Power BI or Tableau visualization tools.

Monday - Friday, Onsite

Pay Range:

$96,058.56 - $158,496.00

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
